What gets you up each morning?
For more than 22 years I have been working at TFC Holland B.V. Holland, and what gets me up each morning remains the same - making my customers happy.
The often volatile fresh fruit market paired with our diverse portfolio of different fruits (that some people have never heard of!), means every day is unique. Consumer demands and therefore our customers’ orders, can change quickly which is something we at TFC take pride in handling every day.
We know the market, the #growers & #suppliers and our contractors in the #freshproduce #supplychain. This gives us the ability to sometimes make the impossible, possible, and our customers know that. We seldom say no, in the rare occasion we cannot deliver on a customer’s request our customers trust that we have explored all options, and it is more than likely that no one else could do it either. For me, this is what makes my job interesting every day, and every week holds something new - and every year anyway! This year, for example, we supplied selected customers in Germany with delicious #Jazzapples from New Zealand. Shout out to Greta Knapen and Didier Groven from Enzafruit who made this possible!
This is a great example of how we join forces and share knowledge within the BayWa Global Produce family to grow our businesses together. Speaking of growing our business, TFC Holland will be operating from our new, large and fit-for-purpose site in Waddinxveen from January 9th 2023. Recently we had a #team breakfast at the new location, it was great to see the site almost ready for us to make the move over the coming weeks. Looking forward to welcoming our customers, suppliers and contractors on site soon.
