Supply Chain Planner
Barendrecht, The Netherlands
To strengthen our European Division, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic, multicultural team in Barendrecht.

Why This Role Matters
As a Supply Chain Planner, you play a critical role in ensuring that fresh products move seamlessly from grower to retailer. You are the central link between commercial, logistics, quality, and suppliers — making sure the right products arrive at the right place, at the right time, every day.
Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the success of our European business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing and optimizing the flow of goods from customer order to final delivery
- Creating and monitoring purchase orders and consignments, ensuring supplier programs are accurately followed
- Maintaining precise and up-to-date information regarding quantities, QC reports, charges, and supplier data
- Verifying packing and transport costs, proactively monitoring margins and efficiencies
- Coordinating closely with Sales, Quality Control, Transport Planners, Growers, and the Senior Commercial Manager
- Ensuring data accuracy within our sales and consignment systems
- Supporting colleagues and stepping in during peak periods, holidays, or absences
You will be in daily contact with buyers, growers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders — making communication and coordination key to your success.
Who We Are Looking For
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and energized by working in an international fresh produce environment. You enjoy solving problems, setting priorities, and ensuring operations run smoothly under pressure.
You bring:
- Experience in the fresh produce industry (strongly preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (a plus, not mandatory)
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT)
- A good command of English and Spanish
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
- A service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility, team spirit, and willingness to travel
