With the arrival of 2023 I am turning the page on a very special chapter in my career. After more than 17 fantastic years, I have decided to leave my role as CEO at Nicolai Fruit & Vegetables NV.
When I look back I feel great gratitude for the opportunities granted and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a fantastic team and create all those long-standing relations with our passionate business partners.
In turn I hope that my presence made you feel good and inspired you at some point to pursue certain goals!
Taking this decision wasn’t easy and even a bit scary I must say… But we all have only one chance to write the book of our life and while I don't know at this point which direction I will go, I have promised myself the next chapter will again be purposeful, to create relationships with the goal to help others and make a positive impact.
First, however, a commitment to myself: time for family & friends! After so many years at full speed I will fully enjoy the coming months at a lower pace and spending so much more time with Liesbet and my two fantastic sons. I am sure this experience will be enriching and even prepare me better for the next chapter of my career!
So for now: up to new undiscovered roads and see you soon!
