We are looking for a versatile, communicative and analytical Portfolio Manager Open Field. You are eager to learn more. You have an entrepreneurial attitude and clear understanding of commercial matters.
The main function of the Portfolio Management Department is to manage the life cycle of the vegetable varieties.
What are you going to do?As a Portfolio Manager you will align research, production and sales to optimise profits. You will analyse global and local market trends to ensure optimum product positioning.
You will maintain in close contact with different departments and be part of an international, multidisciplinary team. You will support the sales team globally with the introduction strategy of varieties and you will visit international trial locations helping in making decisions.
With the broad view on the developments across the world we will achieve global alignment. You will report to the Senior Portfolio Manager.
Your powerYou are versatile; you interact easily with diverse people and are able to be part of various teams. Your know how to develop long-term business relationships, both within and outside our international organisation. You are eager to learn and you have an entrepreneurial attitude, a clear understanding of commercial matters and strong analytical skills. You are willing to travel frequently.
- Bachelor degree
- 5 years of relevant working experience
- Thorough knowledge of horticulture
